Colored Stones:   We are not gemologists and cannot certify whether a stone is natural or synthetic.  Additionally, we cannot certify whether a colored stone has been treated in any way.  Please note that most natural stones are treated by heat to enhance their natural colors.

Diamonds:  We can tell whether a diamond is natural or synthetic.  We test all diamonds for natural materials and we do not sell cubic zirconias or created simulant, unless specifically stated as such.  We do test for Moissanite (a type of created diamond).  However we cannot certify whether a diamond has been treated (heat or laser filled) unless we order it for you.  That means that previously owned jewelry may contain diamonds that have been treated.  However, Please note that we do our best to identify treated diamonds.  If we suspect a diamond may have been treated, we will state this in our item description.  Brand new jewelry items do not contain treated diamonds.
